I'm up to 30 miles

Yeah, and for the people that thought my lack of posting was some sort of indication that I haven't been eating my wheaties -- ha, were You off . ..well, sort of.

I did travel about 30 miles this morning, as I've been without a car and I really need the work over at the construction site . ..which meant showing up.

So with a 30 pound backpack, and 30 miles to travel, I made it to the site in about 2 hrs and 30 min. I was tired.

It wouldn't have been so difficult if the whole journey had been on paved road, but once you get out to Blue Diamond, it's all gravel. Gravel sucks !

All in all, the trip gave me the proper fear for what I'm looking to experience here in just 19 days.
